White with a difference
This style was first pioneered by Robert Mondavi in 1968. Fumé Blanc is a unique white wine style using barrel fermentation and lees stirring to achieve a creamy and silky texture with soft underlying toasty flavours balanced with good acid. Serve slightly chilled.
Alcohol: 14.5%
Vinification: barrel fermented, lees stirring for 8 months
Food: aranchini, grilled fish, garlic prawns, creamy pasta dishes
