Our King and Queen come from the same vintage year – 2015. Both are small grapes and picked later in the season. One is French, the other German. The King is easily grown in a variety of terroirs, the Queen is fussy and requires more care in site selection.
2015 Cabernet Sauvignon
A well known Bordeaux variety that needs age to shine! The 2015 is drinking beautifully now; crowned with Bronze in London for great taste and good looks!
“Big dense oyster shell, great structure and lovely fruit lift. Very dense with fine tannins and amazing length.”
2015 Riesling – Best in Class
A favourite in Germany that can be bone dry to lusciously sweet. It is expressive reflecting its terroir; it also ages gracefully.
We like to think of our 2015 Riesling as the Queen; it was crowned best in class at the 2019 Victorian Wine Show (Silver Medal 93 points, class 2017 and older).
