Britain is well known for its historic castles, the works of William Shakespeare, The Beatles and Harry Potter, to name just a few cultural icons. Less expected, however, is Britain’s reputation as a host of prestigious international wine competitions. This is somewhat curious given the country’s relatively small wine industry, largely due to its cool and wet climate.
Perhaps the absence of major domestic wine regions, combined with London’s large and wine-loving population, has helped establish the city as a global hub for tasting and judging international wines.
In the past 10 years Sedona Estate has quietly built a reputation that stretches far beyond the region. We are chuffed to share that most recently, Sedona Estate was recognised on the global stage at the 2026 London Wine Competition, taking home Gold for its 2021 Reserve Merlot and Silver for the 2022 Reserve Shiraz!!
