Darren Gilbert - New Sculptures & Drawings

Visit Cellar Door for opening times

Highland resident Darren Gilbert masters two contrasting mediums - fine ink drawings and metal artworks. His use of Japanese Brush Stroke adds an entire new layer of expression to Gilbert's latest paintings.

The comparison between the two mediums is a stark and exciting contrast - the common passion that inherently links the works reveals a talented artist, designer and engineer who is constantly inspired by the Australian landscape, native flora and fauna.  Mind you when the view from your studio is as good as Darren's, who wouldn't be moved by the grandeur of the landscape!
